For more than two decades, one question has quietly guided my work:
That question has taken me through seemingly different worlds: from digital strategy and leadership into trauma therapy, from organisational transformation into contemplative practice, and from working with leaders into long-term relationships with indigenous elders and regenerative communities. At first glance these may appear to be different disciplines. I experience them as different windows onto the same inquiry.
Today I work at the intersection of human development, leadership and organisational transformation.
I work with individuals, founders, executives and leadership teams navigating growth, transition and complexity, helping them translate insight into embodied change. Whether supporting someone recovering from trauma, accompanying a life transition, guiding leaders through organisational change or facilitating an intensive personal development process, I see these as different expressions of the same practice.
It is the practice of cultivating the awareness, capacity and coherence that allow us to meet ourselves, one another and life more fully.
My approach is deeply integrative. Rather than beginning with a fixed methodology, I begin with careful attention to what is needed. From there I draw on more than twenty years of experience spanning strategy, organisational development, psychology, somatic trauma therapy, developmental theory and contemplative practice.
Much of my work can be understood as a practice of guided self-inquiry: creating a space in which we do not rush toward solutions, but instead cultivate the attention, honesty and curiosity needed to discover what is truly essential beneath our habitual patterns, assumptions and stories.
Alongside my private practice, I am the founder of The Essence Of, a home for inquiry, leadership and human development. Through it I offer individual work, organisational consulting, writing, retreats and transformative learning spaces. I also facilitate the international Path of Love process, a seven-day intensive personal development journey created over three decades ago by Turiya Hanover and Rafia Morgan, whose work has deeply influenced my understanding of human transformation, presence and essential inquiry.
I believe the challenges of our time cannot be met through better strategies alone. They ask us to develop a different quality of leadership—one rooted in presence, maturity and relationship—because every organisation ultimately reflects the consciousness from which it is created and led.
My work integrates experience from organisational leadership, psychotherapy and years of learning across cultures and wisdom traditions.

Over the past decade, my work has also included serving as a strategic advisor to international initiatives dedicated to regenerative culture and indigenous wisdom, including The Fountain and Le Ciel Foundation.
Through these long-term relationships, I have had the privilege of learning alongside elders from diverse indigenous traditions and lineages. These encounters continue to profoundly shape my understanding of leadership, reciprocity, community and humanity’s relationship with the living world.
My work continues to be shaped by teachers, thinkers and communities whose work spans psychotherapy, human development, living systems, contemplative practice and regeneration. Among those who have been particularly formative are A. H. Almaas, Peter Levine, Laurence Heller, Francis Weller, Parker J. Palmer, Donella Meadows, Joanna Macy, Satish Kumar, Nora Bateson and Bayo Akomolafe.
Equally influential have been years of learning in relationship with indigenous elders from diverse traditions, and my ongoing facilitation of the Path of Love process, created by Turiya Hanover and Rafia Morgan.

There is a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in.
